Hi guys! I'm Dr. Joe Bova and I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve you! I was born and raised locally, in Upstate New York. I attended Christian Brothers Academy of Colonie. After high school I continued on to Columbia University, where I received a Division 1 basketball scholarship. I discovered my love for chiropractic care after my "career ending" back injury the first day of practice my freshman year. Throughout the progression of getting back onto the court, I promised myself that I would do everything I could to prevent others from experiencing the pain that I did. Upon graduating from Columbia, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. My love for health and passion in helping others find healing continued to grow. The need for quality patient care became more apparent to me than ever. With the Lord's blessing, that's what I set out to do.
 

After many years of schooling, I am now a Board Certified Functional Neurologist and Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. I have also received education in nutrition dealing with: autoimmunity, neurological diseases, nutritional suggestions, hormone regulation, and much more. I am constantly learning, growing and being challenged as no two patients are the same. I am confident that we are on the right track to restoring patients lives to be more prosperous and joy filled. When I'm not at the office, you can find me on the basketball court, in the woods, tending to the family vegetable garden, enjoying my weekly yoga class, or spending time with my wife, Allie, and our two boys. Both Allie and I find it a tremendous joy to serve others together at Bova Health and Wellness!
